A very decent pub in Bloomsbury. Good selection of both real ales and craft beers. Attracts locals and tourists alike; a real positive. Staff are really friendly and help to create a nice environment. Apparently the pizzas are really good, although I admit to having been enticed to Ciao Bella less than 100 metres away! Some excellent pubs nearby but this place does a good job.
Booked for a birthday party. Very easy and helpful booking. Paid small deposit which was quickly refunded. Brought food from La Fromagerie which is across the road. Good choice of drinks. Nice light room for 20 people. Will book again as nice area on the weekend as not too crowded and close to stations.
Fantastic little corner pub with a good beer garden. Staff were lovely: helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The Spitfire and Guinness were excellent. Place has a really good feel and is well worth a visit
We had an absolutely appalling customer service experience here. We had a bar tab from their pub quiz that expired today, but this pub would not seat us and would not extend the bar tab. We’ve been very loyal customers of this local pub for almost a year, but I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon after this incredibly disappointing experience. Fortunately, there are lots of lovely, friendly pubs in the area that I would recommend frequenting instead.
A pint of great beer and a top class pizza....can't go wrong.
Nice pub in the heart of Bloomsbury. On the pretty Lamb's Conduit Street alongside a number of great restaurants. Definitely a good place for a drink to start the evening off, or for some pub gub at lunchtime.
Used the upstairs room for a poetry event. Lovely space, microphone provided, and extra seats. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great central location. Highly recommend.
This is the best pub in the area, I have been going regularly for two reasons: the staff especially Maya are super friendly and nice, they host really fun events, which gives the place a lovely atmosphere all the time even during the week and also the pizza is 10/10.
non-fussy and tasty menu of pizza and beer. I had the Pizza pie off the specials board. which was really good. Friendly staff. Lovely boozer.
We went here for the pub quiz and were not disappointed! The quiz was really well carried out and the pizza from the bar was amazing! The staff were lovely so I'll definitely be going back.
