Food is great but they took two hours to serve a starter and main for four people. There were only two tables dining in the pub including us. The parking in the area is limited to two hours, we had to rush to finish our meal and get back to the car. A less than satisfactory experience. The meal is not enough to encourage a return.
A very good pub and getting better all the time. Their selection of beers has increased massively. The food is very good here also. Very reasonably priced. The only down side is they have to the burgers well done for health and safety reasons. Which I can't stand.
The waiter was very nice! The fish excellent, the french fries, well not as good as i like. The pub was cosy. It was a very nice moment.
Exceptional Sunday roast! I particularly recommend the Beef and the Nut Roast with the homemade cauliflower cheese on the side. Such a lovely, warm and welcoming local pub!
Great pub. Gordon and his team have been doing a splendid job during the coronavirus. Reassuringly safe, and efficient. The wonderful staff are all very friendly and adroit. Highly recommended.
Nice authentic English pub. Went back two days after our first visit because it was that good. The Sunday roast did not disappoint, the food is really good. Post covid-19 lockdown this will become our local. Do yourself a favour and visit this pub. The staff are all super friendly as well. Can't think of anything negative at all.
Great looking pub, food was great, drinks were good. Guest drinks were a little pricey but delicious.
