Lovely staff and great food. Really nice juices, coffee and panini. It is pricey but it's right by the station and in an upmarket area of West London so it's to be expected. Great little spot!Food: 5/5
Great for a quick lunch! Very friendly and generous staff, offered me an extra meatball when I told them I didn't want the sweet potato mash which normally comes with my meal see pictures. In total, my main and "Apple, Orange, Carrot and Mint juice" came to £15. I feel it is fairly priced given the fast & friendly service combined with the location right by Maida Vale station. I would feel comfortable bringing my kids here, there are tables by the side with comfortable seating. There are a few tables outside which are nice too. Food quality wise, the salad was fresh and the meatballs nicely warmed up. Personally I felt that the salad could have used a little more seasoning and the meatballs were a little peppery. By all means it was enjoyable, just not the best I've had. There is WiFi available at the café.
Lovely food and service! Local place and our go to for breakast!
Just moved to London and found this amazing spot for the freshest, tastiest and healthiest food! I’m a regular already. The staff is so friendly and chill. I hope this place never closes!!
I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelette and I didn't know you could make such a dry and tasteless omelette 'til coming here. Truly awful I couldn't eat it. For £7.90 I expected much better. The juice wasn't great either for £4.50 and it just tasted of cucumber water. Disappointing. The coffee was good however. Maybe stick to that and avoid the food.
I live quite close and have been a number of times. However, I had a really poor experience today at Peppermint and will not be going back. Along with my food, I ordered their Banana, Mango and Orange smoothie. When it arrived I drank some of it and could taste absolutely nothing except banana. I really do mean nothing, not even a hint of either orange or mango. I politely told the waitress this when she brought our food and asked if she could bring the smoothie back to the kitchen and have some 'extra' mango and orange added. When she returned a few minutes later the smoothie tasted exactly the same. There was absolutely no mango or orange in it. It had simply been topped up with more of the exact same. I again politely made this point to the waitress. She gave me a very unconvincing explanation that banana is a very strong taste and it must be over powering the other fruits. I felt it was getting awkward and didn't want to embarrass her so I just nodded and left it at that. But I felt sure they wouldn't charge me for the smoothie. I was shocked to see it on the bill when it arrived. Their smoothies are not cheap and I think it is very poor practice to cut corners like this and leave the waiting staff to come up with weak excuses. I understand that eating out is not cheap and I don't mind paying but I expect to get a fair deal. £24 for two paninis and a terrible smoothie is not value for money. This experience was very disappointing and left me feeling that customer satisfaction is not a priority. There are plenty of other options in Maida Vale and I will not be a customer at Peppermint again.
Had a good salad for £8.7 with, on one side, broccoli, red pepper, apple and pine nuts and, on the other side, beetroot with caramelized goat's cheese and walnuts. The beetroot was really good, but the broccoli was a bit boring. The cappuccino was good.
Pros: nice area, kind staff , great food options for breakfast , delicious fresh juices Cons: Eggs Benedict overcooked hard yolk , served on overly dried out muffin, no discount/change offered
Had brunch today as we read great things. We opted for panini sandwich. I had the veggie option and my partner the chicken. They arrived with a lovely side salad but they were both very flat and thin. Also they were a little sparse of filling when we opened them up. We both also agreed they didn’t really have much taste. A real shame. However, The side salad was very nice and the latte was also superb. Also the service was very good. So low mark due to the sandwich.
Fresh juicesand a great sandwiches highly recommended for brunch
