One of my favourite eating places in Ellon. Excellent menu with lots of choice and reasonable prices. Friendly welcome, good service, and lovely food in pleasant surroundings.

Popped in here for a quick coffee after a walk down by the river , had a cappuccino and a Pend club sandwich , both were delicous and quickly served. The restaurant was 3/4 full for a thursday afternoon which I thought was a decent indicater that the Pend is doing somethings right. Will come back to try the tapas

Disappointed with the quality of the food and service. There were few customers and you would have expected everything would be in order. Not sure if staff really understand good service.
