Really really enjoyed our visit to Ice Dreams. The staff couldn't have been any better. The food was amazing, it's comfortable, and the price a reasonable. Brilliant wee treat.
Very friendly and welcoming staff with a great choice of menu. We requested a candle on the top of my dad's Knickerbocker Glory for his birthday, and was presented with a birthday waffle and candle on top. Felt very special.
The ice cream is very good, smooth,creamy and the flavours are all recognisable.You can eat in or out, the prices are reasonable and the opening times are good. Service is sometimes a bit slow, but not to the point of boredom. Great place to take the kids. I just love ice cream!
Had an Afternoon Tea here today. Food was great, all taster-size which was fine, soup, sandwiches, waffles, fancy pieces and milk-shakes. The scones however, were huge and we didn’t have room for them. Good service and reasonably priced. Will be back again
Baked potatoes, sandwiches, toasties & wraps on the menu as well as dessert options! Bright and cheery decor & atmosphere and nice large windows facing out towards the river. Getting there is easy as plenty parking nearby and in the centre of town. The team at Ice Dreams are polite and friendly and efficient at getting you the food even though it's all cooked fresh. The menu is full of novel options as well as having the standard offerings, and the food is of very high quality. A real credit to the town.
Best panini I have had in a long time. Loads of filling chicken and mayo. My flat white coffee was perfect too. Excellent staff, good buzz about the place.
Dreadful experience today. Calling in while visiting the area myself, my sister-in-law and our 4 young children were forcibly removed from the premises my sister-in-law got a hand placed on her back and was actually pushed out of the shop!!, being told they were a member of staff down and very busy!?! No, 'sorry, would you mind a wait' or be with you soon, but told to 'just go, can't you see the plates stacked up, can't you see we're busy?'. Apparently we were 'creating a scene' by asking if we could maybe just take 4 scoops of ice cream away. Absolutely gobsmacked by the appalling customer service, have never experienced this anywhere before. Having been several times before and reading these reviews it seems to be an isolated incident, but needless to say we will NOT be returning.
Amazing! Best ever dessert parlour in the area
Now Shakes n Cakes. Good size menu, expensive but in line with other Ice Cream Parlour. Good sized portions. Good service.
Not wheelchair or buggy friendly. It should be table service, but you take a seat, look at the menu and go up and place your order at the counter, which no-one was at when we went in, but was queueing out the door when we went to place our order. Extremely overpriced compared to the Coffee Pot, who's ice creams are better. The toilet is grubby and the seat is falling off. Not at all impressed
