Hi. I am the owner of The Pembroke Arms. I am sorry you had a negative experience today for Mother's day. We catered for 50 people and have had very positive reviews. We offered a selection of  desserts, one of which had alcohol. Many of our customers with children enjoyed vanilla ice cream with melted chocolate sauce and wafers. I would be reluctant to show my staff who worked so hard all day, your review, as I know they would be bitterly disappointed.

Went for mothers day not the best.....the chief was heard being rude to waitressing staff in the way he spoke to them.  Food was ok not the best.  No thought for children on the menu ....I am all for mine having the same as us in smaller portion but no suitable starters for them or pudding ...majority had alcohol in them ....not even a choice of simple bowl of ice cream.

For some reason I cannot reply to the owners response ....I do believe your staff worked really hard especially the waitressing staff they didn't deserve to be spoken to rudely by the chef. However with the puddings we did ask for a bowl of ice cream but were told they didn't have that on the menu?
