Popped in with a pal early this week for the first time and was greeted by a wonderful team with great lagers and ales on tap, Hawkstone being my choice, and we decided to have a meal. Was taken care of by the wonderful Ella, who provided an excellent level of service, very professional and personable.nThe food was excellent, had the burger and parmesan chips, which was cooked to perfection, thoroughly enjoyed it.nAll in all, a blinder of a find, would advise you to give it a try!
A lovely find, met with friends here for a catch up brunch. The sausage sandwich with onion jam was delicious. The brunch menu was a bit egg heavy for someone who can't eat eggs but that's the only downside. The decor is beautiful and staff super friendly. GF options were available but as I was not with my Coeliac daughter I didn't question further.
Great location so have used this as a base for air show visits a few times. Dmitri the manager is excellent, really knows what he is doing. Breakfast very busy and one poor very sweet young lady was desperately keeping show on the road until more staff turned up. Some teething issues but overall the hotel is improving. Good breakfast and nice staff. Some rooms old and basic, some now done up to a high standard.
came for a family Christmas meal today, and it was lovely. the table was a little cramped but there were about 12 of us so understandable. food was delicious and service was great, our server was lady with tattoos, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. thanks for having us!nonly qualm was £6+ for a pint of orange and lemonade
I paid a return visit to this establishment in Biggleswade after a 20 year hiatus. Originally it was quite a modest hotel run by an Italian family. Currently it has been transformed into a sophisticated restaurant and bar with main dishes costing on average £18. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly Alex our server was attentive and considerate. Thoroughly recommended in Britains town with the lowest divorce rate!
