Had a great meal there. Great vibe with lots of people even though it was raining. Friendly service always a bonus. The Paper Mill has 2 sections, a pub (where one can get standard pub food) and an upstairs restaurant section. Would recommend the venue.

Have been to the paper mill a number of times now but about 3 weeks ago my wife ordered a medium rare steak and was quite disappointed as it came back rare and bloody and couldn't be cut and might I say definitely not worth the money you charge! We sent it back and asked for another steak cooked properly but got the same again! The wait staff were good and we got a full refund but I don't know what was going on in the kitchen? As my wife was starving by now we went to the Italian restaurant on the other side of the canal! We have recently moved into the area and live within walking distance and was hoping this would be our local go to for food but we are now reluctant to go back.

A really nice meal here. The upstairs restaurant is very good with excellent service in a relaxed environment. Good selection on the menu and something for the vegetarians too.

Very pleasant atmosphere & excellent food with usual & less usual dishes. Waitress very helpful despite being busy. Will be back again soon.

Good selection of beers. It's not a cheap place but nice inside and out. Had a lovely log fire burning which made the whole place smell warm and welcoming. I didn't eat but the food smelt lovely. Also the car park onsite allows 24 hour parking sessions which is good for the, er, sessions 😜
