Good surfaced paths, many different ways around throughout the woods. Marvelous views over Loughborough. Very interesting Geology features (with illustrated explanation) Ideal all year round. Peppercorns now has Cafe Bus at entrance. Car Park now £1 all day.

It's a truly beautiful place for a few hours of walking with the dog. Spacious and never too busy. Lots of paths and off track routes to be enjoyed. Some great views and also seating areas for a quick rest if needed.

Good place for a family walk. Cheap parking at £1 for the day. There is a double decker bus converted into a cafe for a coffee, tea and snacks.
