Quite a nice venue. There is some decent parking close by which is useful. It feels pretty big as you could get easily lost in this place. The only thing I didn’t like was the chairs are connected to each other which means is someone is restless and moving around all the time, all the chairs move. it’s a bit disconcerting. Otherwise all is good. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The interior has been recently renovated, it's a very modern look now and has art on display and jewellery for sale. The bar is plenty big enough. A good sized auditorium with comfortable seats. They sell ice creams etc in the interval actually in the auditorium. Good sound system. All in all I enjoyed my visit to the Ballet Swan Lake excellent evening.
First visit here and very impressed with it all. The show G4 were fantastic and have already booked for Lulu.
It's not a "town hall" in the administrative sense - it's a public events space. Nice building
Excellent venue for theatre. Small auditorium for intimate atmosphere with performers. Nice bar, great staff and easy parking.
Went to the christmas Panto, sleeping beauty, which was very entertaining and well worth the entrance fee. It's Peter Pan next year, get your tickets early as they sell out very quickly.
A good night out, the staff friendly and helpful and the show very good. The bar did lovely coffee and tea which when you're driving is perfect
Sleeping Beauty panto,2 hours of fun, some clever comedy, and nice dance routines plus some special effects.
Excellent 1st night at a show since the pandemic started. Went to see Showaddywaddy. Great show. Great Band.
We went to see the Lionel Richie Tribute show and it was brilliant! There is easy car parking just around the corner and the staff at the Town Hall are so welcoming. Excellent venue for entertainment.
