Nice place for people who is in budget as it's canting chain of pubs. We come time to time for a cup of tea, pizza is grate here, chicken I like and nice meal for kids.nRemember it's a pub.nI recommend this place to safe your money.
Easy to walk past this Spoons as it's inside another building which I believe might be the cinema. We missed it & had to turn back before we realised it was the pub we were looking for. Unasumming from the outside but the inside made up for it. Lots of available seating inside and a few tables & chairs outside. Pay for parking right outside which is useful but not many spaces unfortunately. Prices for drinks and food are average. Prices are normally dearer in London or at the O2. Pint of Bud Light was £1.99. We had a chicken pizza to share as a snack. It was fine. Spoons food has really gone downhill & I wouldn't have dinner due to persistent recent disappointment . Staff were friendly. Pub was clean. Tables needed clearing but otherwise ok. Wouldn't feel the need to return. Number 77 for us.
Ordered a steak medium/well and it came out purple in the middle. Sent back to be brought out again after a long wait absolutely cremated and awful. Would have raised with staff but no one came to check if everything ok like they normally do and my partner had long since finished his meal. I just wanted to eat and go home. Wetherspoons here is normally good so no idea what happened!
Another Wetherspoons..nnWhilst staying in a hotel in Felbridge the night before flying out of Gatwick, we discovered this Wetherspoons about a 30 minute walk away.nnThis is a large, open and bright Spoons situated within a complex building.nnThe food was good, we had the afternoon fish and chips and loved the dessert.nnStaff were pleasant, we would return if in the area.
Barman was really nice, food was less nice. Vegetarian sausage and mash, hardly any congealed gravy, way too many grey and joyless peas, and the mash was a thousand years old and had a very weird taste. I've eaten this dish in dozens of Wetherspoons, I always order it, and sadly this was the worst I've ever had. Decent pint of Guinness and there's an easygoing atmosphere here
