Visited today for coffee. Warm greeting from a very lovely lady. We sat by the lovely inglenook fireplace in which she added more logs. Didn't get to try did this time as wrong time of the day but nice welcome. We definitely visit again to try the carvery, which I am told is lovely.

Nice spacious pub, busy but not to noisy.

Great selection of ales and other alcohols both on tap and off.

Amazing food, and quite good deals on it too.

Really good food and service. These guys have got the pricing and service right. Nice surrounding not too stuffy.
Give it a try if you haven't already. Good veggie options, steak and kidney pudding is excellent.

Had heard mixed reviews on the food, we tried it, and for the money was quite impressed, you do get what you pay for, for an average price meal don't expect michellin rated food. Overall good value for food and the beer was good and well kept. If I  was passing this pub again I would stop by! Lovely setting too!

Very varied menu. Something for everyone. Friendly staff. Good value. We will return.
