Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful setting. We did their Grapevine evening which was really good and excellent value for money. Our room was small and in need of updating but there are better categories of room which we would select next time. Bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The food here us incredible. Worked here and was lucky enough to be fed here too. I had potted shrimp with trout which had picked cucumber wrapped around little circles of fishy joy. Followed by the venison which was perfectly cooked and reared on the estate. The staff were extremely good, very young and not in the least bit stuffy. The rooms were beautiful but simple and unfussy with lovely views over the Devon countryside. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Grounds are beautiful. Food is fantastic. They also offer great things to do. The tree house looks amazing. Lost a star due to the cheesy messages and marketing. Really cringe....wot hoe.....toodle pip!!! Which annoyed me as everything else was perfect...maybe if I'm being picky some of the staffs presentation for a posh establishment wasn't up to scratch.

Amazing venue. Got married here and came back on out first wedding anniversary; staff are incredible; food is fantastic and the scenery is wonderful. A true sense of luxury and escapism from the real world. Can't wait to come back here and feel so very well looked after.

Wonderful superior room (thanks for the upgrade). Staff were very friendly and the function room (orangery) was perfect for our friends wedding. The grounds are lovely too.
