The family owned hotel boasts a range of services and facilities including the Orangery Restaurant and Brasserie and the Aura Lounge Bar. Stayed at Seamill Hydro for the weekend and ate dinner in the Orangery both nights. The food was outstanding - pate, prawn cocktail, mixed grill and fish & chips. We are fans of Crieff Hydro too but the food here is far superior.

The Orangery was recommended be a friend who is local to the area and it didn’t disappoint! The menu had a great selection of dishes and the ones we opted for were all delicious. Staff were polite and attentive too!

Two delicious meals in the Orangery - dinner for 2 and a lunch for 8. Food and service were excellent on both occasions, service especially so for our lunch party. I enjoyed my West Coast mussels and tiger prawns, but seemed to surprise the staff by asking for an empty bowl for the shells (which was too small) and a spoon for the soup/sauce. As a frequent traveller to Belgium, probably the home of mussels/moules, it is usual to provide an empty bowl of the same size as that in which the mussels are served. However, these are small points and in no way spoiled an excellent meal.

The view is spectacular and food excellent, great value for money. It just lacks professionalism when the staff are standing about gossiping and consequently are inattentive and slow. But a comfortable good experience in delightful surroundings.

Had the fish here and it was amazing! Lovely plaice and the restaurant and staff are nice as well.
