I like this place....So, there I have declared bias up-front. Having said that, it is evident that a lot of thought and care has gone into the facilities. The rooms are pretty good and the "Executive" ones; frankly, superb! Given the price of room and breakfast, unbeatable value for money too... Extensive dining menu, great selection of beers, peerless choice of whiskies (if you like that) and fantastic breakfast all add up to a great place. You can stay overnight (B&B), go to dinner in the separate restaurant, or just go for a pint in the traditional bar.... Or, combine all three which is highly recommended....

Very old place that is picturesque and serves a good selection of drinks. Over 50 whiskies are on offer! Food very varied and portions sizes are huge.... Service can be a little slow at times but its generally worth the wait. Accommodation, which is to a high standard, is available and is very reasonably priced. Breakfast is fresh, varied, large and delicious.....
