I had been in the city centre for something to eat but just wanted to afternoon off with a nice pint. I know that they serve Blue Moon in here so my decision was made. Lovely friendly atmosphere and I got talking to a few people and ended up having 3 pints before I left. Friendly bar staff and a nice atmosphere.

Excellent little pub in an incredible old building. Fireplaces in different rooms which made it very cosy and welcoming and with a great choice of Ales.

Exceptionally good pub, good food, nice clean and relaxing environment, friendly staff, you know what you paid for.

Incredibly friendly staff, and the most amazing cheese and meaty boards! As well as a great selection of ales to choose from. The pub is also dog friendly which is fantastic!

Absolutely love this pub, I've came here 3 times since many years. Always for a pork pie and a pint,  the young lady at the bar is very enthusiastic and easy to talk to when being served.  Recommend!

Lovely old pub with great staff. Fantastic juke box and good, relaxed atmosphere with everyone talking to one another - no such thing as strangers! Oh...and a great pint too :

Cosy, coal fires going. Good range of ciders, some beers, tempting bar food.
