Neat pub off the main road. Had live karaoke going which I’ve yet to find anywhere else in the UK, so that was entertaining to say the least. Nice selection of beers, only 2 bartenders but they did a good job tending to the masses. Plenty of seating to host larger groups which was nice, wasn’t as crammed in as other pubs around. Never tried the planet ale before it was crisp and refreshing!
A nice pub with a pool table, TVs and a decent menu with reasonably priced food. But I must say the portion of chips served with the burgers are very small. And they seemed to have forgotten the spring onion on the chicken wings. But even though they were very tasty and at a good price too. Friendly staff and wide range of customers from students to OAPs.
Managed to park at the front. Reserved a table at 7pm menu very reasonable with plenty of choices including vegetarian and vegan dishes.
I have been going here for a very long time and it always has a great atmosphere. The size of the building is great with many different seating areas. With a great range of drinks and food at a good price. It has a great vibe and can get busy at weekends or for big sporting events. Great place and lovely staff.
Great local bar, relaxing and good croud with good sport coverage. Beth G behind the bar is a star, so helpful, lifts my mood and always welcoming. Sam also makes a point of making sure customers feel special. Thank you guys, only here 3 weeks but I didn't feel alone.
Really great food and drink with wonderful service. James served with friendliness and humour, couldn’t do enough to help. Scott’s cooking was perfection. Really good value for money.
No ales on. Prices a bit steep, but then it is the City. Venue ok, plenty of screens. Decent vibe. Only 1 person serving each time we visited but got served quickly enough. No lemons for the girls Vodka and tonic.
This place is fast becoming a favourite of mine. Drinks are reasonably priced, well I would say that after living in London. Decent pint of Stella and they also do a laphroaig 10 year old. Great for watching sport or simply sitting in and reading. Not seen any trouble and the food is great whether it's the bacon and cheese burger or the small plates, the katsu chips are a fav of mine. So massive compliments to the chef. Bar staff are polite, friendly and attentive. Samantha made sure on Saturday I could hear my team Everton get beaten by man utd and Bethany G Bee Gee as I call her as she can sing like them, I urge all to ask her to belt out a few bars of staying alive tonight greeted me with a smile and the word "Stella". Who doesn't like having a pint poured before you can ask "how are you?" As long as I'm in Coventry this will be a place of choice. Only negative I think of is that you have to ask the staff what their names are, a name badge would make life easier.
Great place for food and drinks staff are friendly and happy to help. The food came out quickly and hot with plenty of options to choose from.
Great for sport and food, bar staff always attentive, thank you to Owen for serving us on Sunday afternoon.
