It's a an affordable good ambience place in Coventry. Most of the alcohol are at a cheaper rate and the cocktail taste good too. Most of the dishes are pocket friendly and affordable.. very good place to hangout with friends and family. Must visit place .. it has cuisine ranging from Italian, indian , continental food. Will visit again and will definitely try the breakfast once .. Enjoy eating
Went on a busy bank holiday with 10 family members. Found seating upstairs, staff were polite and efficient. The food was well priced for good value and arrived quickly. Everyone enjoyed the quality of the food and the whole experience. I would recommend trying this place.
Nice old building with some local history to it. Typical Wetherspoons decor with outdoor seating and plenty of tables. I found it slightly grubby though and I visited twice, Monday evening when it was quiet a few tables had dirty dishes and needed cleaning. Cheap though.
It is a very typical pub and a nice place to spend the evening having some drinks and food. Yesterday I really enjoyed my dinner here, cheap and big quantity.
Tried Fish and chips, freedom breakfast, large breakfast overall they were pretty decent.
Busy, but staff work hard to ensure food and drink are served quickly. Prime position right in City Centre. Tables cleared and prepared again as soon as they are vacated. If only the staff training included filling the pint glasses with a full pint it would be perfect.
Food is delicious. There is a mini lift, and I can fit my double pushchair in it. Service is brilliant. Food is good price. Offers all time.
The staff didn’t ask Id when they served the first time and for the second drink they asked the Id and we showed the photo Id in phone and they didn’t accept it. They didn’t serve us the second time and the staff was unapologetic and rude about this. I showed them my photo ID and I know it was against the rule. If they asked us in the first time, we could’ve moved to another place. This was completely their fault and we’ve also noticed they didn’t asked ID on the other tables. And we felt like she’s the staff being racist. And When we asked about this the staff told that, it’s according to their perspective they can decide whether they we are above drinking age or not so it clearly shows they are judging people by their appearance not by the rules. ‍
It's a spoons, the food and drinks were served quickly in spite of the place being packed. I do wonder if any of us would actually sit in a Wetherspoons if they turned the lights on properly. But better than McDonald's and they serve beer.
Had a curry club meal. Unfortunately, the beef in the Madras was very fatty and grisly. So not very good. Staff were nice and friendly.
