My husband and I came here for the first time this evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Friendly, welcoming staff and a cozy place to eat and drink. Had a lovely meal, the food was great and we would definitely recommend and be back. Thank you!
What amazing food. The pie & chips were first class. Advise booking as it is popular given the great food. Defo going back
Had lunch with a few friends here and as always, the food was exceptional and price rather reasonable. Well done to the entire staff and keep it going.
Friendly staff Good Food Good beer Great to see there are still pubs with character about.
Have visited many times over a number of years and have never been disappointed with either the food or service supplied. On this visit I was able to make use of their outdoor dining area and I am more than happy to say that the level of service or attention to detail did not disappoint. A very pleasant summer's evening spent with a good friend, good food, good service and good weather. Thank you to all.
[Aug 2021] First visit post-COVID and everything as it was before. Nice Sunday roast, attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely be back. [Mar 2019] Roast lamb on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice food. Quick service. Nice atmosphere in the pub. Recommend you book, or at least phone before you travel to make sure they have a table. [Aug 2018] Visited for Sunday lunch for the first time in 2 years and am pleased to say the they still serve great food. Loads of beers on offer. Plenty of seating as they have a nice covered area outside which wasn’t there last time I visited. Possibly the best Sunday lunch in the area.
What an amazing pub to stumble across. Nice beer garden, well maintained as well. Fantastic service and plenty of different lagers and beers to choose from. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the Manager Glen is so accommodating and happy.
Very cosy and friendly pub. My family only live five minutes down the road so it’s potentially going to be our local
Really nice friendly pub, sunday roast was good although prefer crispier tatties. Good range of puds and all staff very pleasant. Looking forward to trying out their nicely done outside area when the weather improves
Tasty Sunday lunch, Good selection of ales, gin and wine
