We had a very enjoyable evening here. It is a very traditional pub in appearance. There are TV screens and the World Cup was being shown. It has three nice pool tables £1 a game/free on Sundays after 7pm. There is a car park with parking for 10-15 cars, immediately behind the pub, which is accessed from Vicarage Road, very close to the traffic lights. There is a small covered outdoor patio area at the back.
This is a fabulous pub! A friendly, welcoming atmosphere that supports local bands and live music! They have a Open Mic/Jam Night each week and great beverages too!

Great local pub. The gentleman at the bar was incredibly friendly and it was evident as he knew every person that walked in. Place was clean and very cliche as far as English pubs are concerned.
My wife and I had the most amazing 3 course meal yesterday evening. The food was all fresh, and the produce was sourced through local businesses which I am massively in favour of. The food tasted great, and was nice and fresh with amazing flavours. The service was brilliant, and we immediately booked up for Sunday roast.
Great local pub that is definitely worth visiting for a good night out, especially if you're a fan of live music. It is nice to see a pub bucking the trend and still hosting full bands - the amount of people that turn up to see them is encouraging too, even if it means a longer wait at the bar sometimes! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, there is a good selection of drink options and there is a Pool room if the music isn't your thing.

Good beer, live music - Ska band called Skadekat very good, lively atmosphere.
First time visiting here. I always judge a place on how clean the toilets are, and these ones; very clean. Great choice on taps, would recommend
