Great wee pub, nice atmosphere with it's old dark carved wood. The staff are really nice and the ale offerings on tap are great. The cider they had on tap I really enjoyed too. The cocktails list looked good but we were enjoying the ale/cider too much.Food: 5/5
Quite possibly the finest example of a Victorian pub interior in Glasgow. Absolutely stunning. Although the pub has such a historic interior, it feels contemporary in a good way with red lighting and candles on the tables at night and a great, modern beer selection complimented by excellent cocktails. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too. They are heavily invested in the Glasgow music scene and have sessions and gigs on a regular basis. A hidden gem well worth a visit.
Simply the best. Beautiful heritage interior. Love it. Great beer choice. Friendly bar staff and locals. Highly recommendedService: 5/5
Just go for the authenticity & the history. No food. Music & quiz nights.Food: 5/5

A curious happenstance led me to The Old Toll Bar on a gloomy February evening. I’m pleased it did. Nice ale, great atmosphere, friendly staff.Service: 5/5
Full of character. Candle lit bar. Have house beer and lager that's pretty good. Downstairs is a function room. The night I went there they had dragioke see pic, which was really good fun in a laid back atmosphere.
This bar is a trip to the past, with most of its design kept original from the late 1800s when it was built. Traditional and beautiful. A shame it's not in a better area of the city, but because of its not-so fortunate location you can enjoy reasonably priced drinks, including some very interesting cocktails!! Craft beers on tap always changing which is great. They are doing live jazz on some Tuesdays. We absolutely love this gem of a bar.
A friend and I went along to the quiz night on Wednesday on a whim. It turned out to be a fantastic night, I absolutely loved it. The bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The beer selection was exciting, varied and delicious. We both were in stitches constantly with the lovely Bryce delivering the best pub quiz I've ever been part of. Inventive and hilarious. Great atmosphere and lovely clientele as well. 10/10 heavy recommend
My favourite bar of all! From the decor dating way back to the general fantastic atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Just wish I stayed close enough for it to still be my local
