Baby Grand

Had dinner with some friends last night. The staff were excellent, food was delicious and the restaurant was very relaxed and comfortable with plenty of outdoor seating. Can't wait to come back when the live jazz is back.

been coming here recently for a FrIday afternoon takeaway treat - 1/4 roast chicken and swap the fries for veg. Usually quite tasty and good portions, however, now being charged extra for veg - and not getting the fries and the chicken is mostly just carcass with little meat. Disappointing as i quite liked this place

Good coffee, good cake, pleasant staff, and a great atmosphere. Will keep coming back

A choice of 3 menus gave an excellent choice of meals. Even had a window seat with a view of the Mitchell library. Staff were helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Its a cute quirky location great staff fantastic range wines. great in summer to just sit outside enjoy glass wine in sunshine. worth a visit.

Classy place, live music, great staff!

Great place for lunch or pre theatre meal. One,two or three courses and an a la carte menu available. Good choices and competitively priced. Friendly staff. We were a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed themselves. Having a pianist play a Baby Grand piano adds a very special touch.

The Baby Grand is a nice little bar and much improved since it was extended a year or so back. They now have a full restaurant facility which is worth a try. Drinks prices are not the cheapest but you pay for the pleasant environment I guess.
