Had a great time on a Wednesday night with their 1984 menu at 1984 prices! Live piano music in the background was wonderful. They switched to recorded music later in the night I forgot to take a photo of the generously sized & yummy sticky toffee pudding. The coffee was smooth and everything was delicious. There’s a wide selection of alcoholic drinks not pictured & their regular menu looks great too! One minute walk from Charing Cross Station.
Went here on Saturday 20th July for a meal with my fiancée before going to the theatre. Food was amazing staff exceptionally friendly and service was quick. We had the pre-theatre menu which has a great choice but will definitely be going back to try the rest. Would highly recommend giving it a try. Prices are good and location is great it your heading to the King's
Had a recommendation to go here so went for the 1984 menu, absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was up for a laugh all night! Both me and my partner had the steak it was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of food. The atmosphere was amazing. We have already talked about our next adventure hereFood: 5/5
Great place to visit for food and a drink before a show at the King's. Easily accessible, Charing Cross railway station is literally a stone throw away. There is a large car park nearby, if you are driving. The food is delicious. The staff are so welcoming and the owner is still the same. That speaks volumes. We definitely will return.
Stopped by for some dinner before the theatre, not been in a long time and was pleased we went. Food was excellent, cocktails on point. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Atmosphere was cosy and warm. Parking: Plenty of available parking, multi-storey car park right next door as well as metered street parking and if you're lucky to get them some free spaces.
Visited the Baby Grand for lunch on a Wednesday. There current promotion of 1984 prices, on a Wednesday, because they have been open 40 years, made for a realy great meal at very cheap prices. The service was excellent.Food: 4/5
1st visit in such a long time, forgot about this hidden gem. Food was amazing, excellent menu choice, very friendly staff and fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back for another visit soon.Food: 5/5
The food was delicious and the service was above what I expected. Very clean tidy and welcoming. Highly recommended the fish and chips, sticky toffee pudding.Food: 5/5
The starter I had was delightful, the hummus was rich in its taste, enhanced by the avocado and the pitta bread was a wonderful addition to it. For the main, I had Grand Mac and Cheese and it was a delight. The texture and taste of it was wonderful and the jalapenos really elevated it for me. For the dessert I had the spiced plums and it was the perfect terminus for the courses, with it's sweet and spicy plums and cream with the biscuit-crunch leaving me very satisfied with what they have offered. Overall, I enjoyed my time in Baby Grand, the staff are wonderful, the beers I've had are great and the food has been fantastic, served brilliantly with not too long of a wait. Fully recommended to anyone who visits or lives in Glasgow
The food was nice, but the service was dreadful. We booked in advance, advising that a member of our party was gluten-free, and there were options shown on the online menus. However, when we got there, there were no gluten-free options, not even bread. Dietary restrictions: Not gluten free options
