We found this place by chance and we will definitely be going back. The service was fast and friendly and the Sunday roast was gorgeous. Hubby had the beef and I had turkey. It arrived with vegs separately and a small very cheesy cauliflower cheese.
We went before lockdown. The place is lovely and clean. Right in the town centre. Breakfast was amazing and the lady that cooked it was lovely. We will definitely be returning and more than once
Had a gorgeous sunday lunch here and the price was pretty good. I think the decor has gone down hill abit though. We came in a fair few years ago and it seemed quite rustic looking but it seems to be done out or taken over by then. But regardless of how the place looked it was clean and the food was really good x
In the centre of town ,5 minutes walk from parking , the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely breakfast ,will come again.
Great pub and great food. Their 2 for 12 deal is very good value. We had the Fish and Chips - both well cooked and very nice. Would happily visit again.
Very comfortable room for our overnight stay .... extremely friendly and welcoming staff ...the 2 for £12 menu was second to none we chose the mushroom & pepper stroganoff and hunters chicken, they were delicious. An ideal location for our Shrewsbury Prison visit and the pretty shops and castle ...we will return ...
