This place is an absolute dream for vegans! I was almost overwhelmed by the menu, and frankly I'd order one of everything if I could possibly eat that much. Beyond the food, the prices are more than fair and the staff is super friendly. Lastly, it's a beautiful and cozy establishment. I have been to many nice pubs in my time, but this has to be my favourite.
Very cosy and nice little pub. We had very tasty mulled wine that warm us up that cold sunny Saturday.
I came here for an event at the weekend and had a lovely time! Really cute cosy pub, amazing food options and well priced drinks which is a bonus. The bartender Mitch was really nice and accommodating! My friends and I all agreed to come back soon for a proper meal!
We came here for aome karaoke. The bartender was supper chill and nice. We got some free shots and had an amazing time singing out loud! The bartender really cared about giving us a great karaoke night! If he still works here, I absolutely suggest this place!!
I provided a valid ID to the security to let me in, but they refused To accept it.. also is very rude with me ...for them it's better that I don't say anything else.. P.s:This document is related to my status to legally live and work in the uk..
Lovely environment but bit pricey. Almost perfect pour of Guinness Got a free drink so 5 stars
awesome place with the most chill and helpful bartender I've ever met: he provided us with a knife and napkins for a big birthday cake cake we brought, let us extend our karaoke room booking way past our original end time, and gave us all a free shot of delicious cazcabel which is now my new favourite spirit. 10/10 service, have starred this place in my maps and will be returning with mates whenever I'm in the area.
Disaster. We booked a karaoke room for a friend's birthday party which had to start an hour late due to a double booking by the venue. Furthermore, none of the microphones in the room worked! One staff member in particular was extremely rude, moving us out of the room half way through our allotted time another staff member told us we had use of that room all night to an upstairs room that smelt like a wet market and didn't even have a karaoke machine! Very poor, avoid. I should also add I've been holding off writing this review in the hope the venue responds to my friend's refund request, but it's been a month and still nothing. Awful.
I really don’t know how to start… but just don’t go there PERIDOT! But long story short we went there to celebrate my friends b’day. She booked karaoke room. At the start no one explained how did it work and we were always up and down to get drinks coming through. As fee you pay £80 for 2hours plus you need to spend £160 as minimum. We thought that we could reach it but the fact no one was helping with the services that didn’t happen at the end. We got into our located room with no instructions how the machine works but we made it happen. At the end of the booking a member of staff basically said that he needed to clean the space ASAP because he had another booking - instead of acknowledging our time there but he would need to do such a thing as is his job. On our way to pay - to the main bar because we just assumed so - no one told us where to pay - a member of security approached us while we were leaving and asked us if we were leaving - this in a matter of seconds of our session coming to an end. He replied to him that we got the message but how many time we need to explain that we were leaving. In the way to main bar - sorting out our payments - the same security that previously approached us - talks to one of my friends in a rude way. Of course he replied back to him because of his approach but ended up being kicked out. The same security ended up asking my friend if he was gay or not in the middle of their small talk. As overall experience I would not recommend to any member LGBTQ+ or anyone really. Was a big mess from the first step in. I tried other places with Karaoke rooms and people were much more friendly and nice. On the silver lining the room is spacious for large groups 10+ ppl. Still would not go there tho. Recommendation: train your staff properly that shows your brand ethos. Not everyone that goes to your service is a tourist. Bad experiences could be avoided with different approaches/ way of dealing with situations.
Decent old pub in London, beers on but not great range, all a bit samey
