Had lunch today here with my elderly! parents. Our server Gary was absolutely brilliant and took the time to chat and joke with us, as well as giving us excellent service. I had a mango and avocado salad which was excellent. The portions were so generous that my parents couldn't finish theirs! A very nice vibe, dog friendly and fully accessible. Very clean toilets which is always brilliant! Thank you so much Gary we will come back!
We hired out the Angel Inn for our wedding on a Saturday afternoon/evening. And honestly, couldn't have found a more perfect venue! It fits around 45 for seated dinner, the food is absolutely delicious, the staff were wonderful. We could decorate and arrange the place how we wanted. The communication was so smooth - it made the planning so easy and we could trust that they had it covered. It has the charm of a pub, the quality of a restaurant, and the fact you can hire it out exclusively giving you a bar area and seated area separately...honestly, nothing like it in London. Whether you have a wedding, party, celebration of any sorts, 100% recommend speaking with the team here.
I went to The Angel recently for lunch, even though I live in Highgate I hadn't been before so I didn't know what to expect. I had a salad with grilled chicken which was delicious and my sister had the burger and fries. Both meals were generous and flavoursome. I will definitely return and take my little dog as they are dog friendly which is a real bonus!
Only ordered a burger takeout as I was really hungry whilst walking my dog in Waterlow Park. Had a quick search on Google map and found out this place is dog friendly and is really close to the park so came and ordered a takeout to eat int he park. Tastes really good, even the fries tastes something special. Would love to come and sit down and try out different menus with my dog.

Great service and good priced beautiful presented and delicious food. Really enjoyed the amalfi spritz non alcoholic cocktail. We asked to moved tables as spot light was so intense and directly in the face of one of my guests, our request was quickly accommodated
A very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Prices very reasonable but portions slightly smaller than having been use to with.the linguineķ. As a group we were looked after very well. Overall excellent.Food: 4/5
We have been regular visitors to The Angel since Rachel, the manager took her position there. Having known the pub before and since Rachel’s residence, I can say without hesitation that it’s an entirely different space. Rachel has created a warm, friendly yet professional environment. The food is always excellent, there is a decent choice of wines and the service is always exceptional. We are lucky enough to have a variety of pubs to choose from, all within walking distance but nowadays The Angel tops them all.
