A real hidden gem. Greet craft beer. Also have cocktails. And a pop up kitchen that is always surprisingly fantastic for a nice cozy pub. Nice and approachable sized space with a good crowd. They also have a decent sized tv for a laid back foot game experience at a really laid back pub.
Fabulous hidden gem. Great burger, great beer, great service and some jangly Dream Pop tunes playing. What's not to love?
Absolutely love this place! Great selection of beers and awesome food. See picture of the pork cheeks. We also had croquettes but snaffled them down before I had a chance to take a pic.
Really strong options on beers and traditional ales. The decor is clean and modern, maybe not quite as homely as other local pubs but definitely worth a visit for anyone keen on interesting pints.
Great food, great beer, great staff. What more could you want...
Proper pub. I believe it might be one of the oldest in Britain. Whatever - a fascinating visit with customers ordering unusual drinks served with professional friendliness.
Great pub with brilliant beers and great grub. Fab, friendly, fun. Go!
Popped in on a Sunday afternoon. Zero ambience... no background music, no sound on the TV despite people watching the football - despite this, great beers! Up your game Duke’s Head!
Amazing beers and atmosphere! Music is also really good. Highly recommended.
This has to be one of the great pubs for range of interesting stuff - beers obviously, but wines qnd spirits too such as the delectable Sacred brand of spirits which you don't find in many places.
