Lovely pub. Great atmosphere. Looks like your front room at the back with a lovely fire. Fantastic curry night on Friday. Absolutely beautiful food at a great price. Highly recommended.
Lovely, friendly, cosy traditional English pub. Low beamed ceiling. Great beer and drinks. Great Monday quiz nights. Claire is a star landlady.
A great pub. Walked in during an interesting quiz, and was met by friendly locals. Bar staff really friendly and fun, wish I could have for to know a couple of locals a lot more. Definitely recommend.
Amazing curry, so pleased we came to try your new menu, warm and cosy atmosphere thank you for a fab evening … will be back soon x
What a cute little find this was We’re in Henley for the weekend and last night we popped into The Old Bell for a drink and didn’t leave until 2am! It’s quite an old pub 697 years old! and so well looked after! The man behind the bar his partner owns the pub, was such a nice man, very friendly, always going above and beyond to make a good customer experience. The poor love was rushed off his feet all night! The barmaid was so lovely as well, really chatty and friendly! Great atmosphere and nice to beer and snacks too Thanks so much for having us, we can’t wait to come back soon. Emma & Mike Feltham xxx
Charming, perfect country pub, excellent service and great drinks selection both beer and wine!. Highly recommended!
Lovely and quaint location. Only popped in for a drink but would definitely ho again.
Claire and her team made my friend and I feel extremely welcome. Claire is amazing and couldn't do enough for us. She is extremely warm and friendly and incredibly hard working. She was running a quiz and cooking food, whilst also being a fabulous host. She is wonder woman, she is just missing the Cape. The pub oozes charm and atmosphere. All the locals are lovely and friendly and talk to you. It's like being in the West Country. The food is delicious and plentiful and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back. 5 stars
Another quirky little ages old pub in the High St. Opens late until even later, so not one for a late morning tipple. Happy to recommend it.
Lovely staff and a great atmosphere, a wonderful spot for a drink. On Monday night, best pub quiz in town!
