Delightful traditional English garden with hollyhocks and robins and a pretty pond and fountain. Inside it looks friendly and welcoming too. And the beer is Breakspear.

Reasonable price for our drinks. Beautiful Beer Garden. I highly recommend a visit.

The food was great. Well priced. Staff very friendly. Lovely outdoor area.

Never been before, but was attending a friend's funeral at a church nearby. Popped in for a drink and snack. The lady behind the bar and locals were really friendly. A proper pub with a good selection of ales and drinks. Tucked away off the main street but well worth seeking it out.

Excellent, traditional pub. Great range of drinks, served correctly, with friendly staff. Unusual to find a proper pub so centrally in town, especially when most are chains or wine bars.
