Really excellent pub, lots of choice for ales. I'm not a lager drinker but they have a choice of those, fruit wines and of course spirits. Food upstairs is pretty good and a nice seating area away from the downstairs. Quite often have live bands etc, normally pretty good atmosphere. Good staff and good beer. Can't really go wrong with The Old Ale House.

Great atmosphere. Fantastic people. Excellent bar staff. Amazing selection of ales! TONIGHT, I'd gone to get usual beer, and surprisingly, there's a gig on. Wow! Top night.!

Housed in a former Milliners, the Old Ale House,( Now run under the auspices of Skinner's Brewery) has an old fashioned ambience. Good beer,good food, friendly staff, there is sawdust on the floor, and there is a small barrel, containing monkey nuts( which are free)

A family friendly historic Ale House in the centre of Truro. Currently the only Skinner's owned public house. And Camra pub of the year 2017

Great boozer with friendly staff and an excellent selection of beers and spirits. Staff very informative about the different beers they sell.
