"On Prince’s Street in the centre of town, Truro Lounge is on a great little corner site. We serve a really great range of food and drinks including kids, gluten free and vegan menus in welcoming, laid back, bright and bold interiors. There’s a lot to like here, but our best feature could be the huge terrace with canopies and sensor heating, perfect in pretty much any Cornish weather! It’s adorned with some beautiful bold murals - we’re particularly fond of our big armed smiley castanet lady. Of course."

A wonderful, modern & highly inviting food and beverage Restaurant. The atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting. I enjoyed a delicious meal which was served piping hot at a very good price. The best bit was the service. So warm, helpful, polite and welcoming. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and look forward to goingnback again.
I had breakfast here a few weeks ago. At first I was excited as the decor inside is fantastic. I went upstairs, chose a seat and ordered through the QR code, great.nHowever, I then had a long wait of 20 minutes for ‘one’ of my drinks to arrive. The waiter was very polite and apologised, but considering there was only myself and another two tables occupied I was very annoyed with the delay.nNevertheless, I waited for my food. I ordered poached eggs on a muffin with mushrooms. Another 15/20 minutes later my food and other had drink arrived.nI sliced my eggs, to find not yolk pouring out but water and lots of it. There was so much water on my plate that my muffins went soggy.nFor the quality of the food, it is very expensive. I will definitely not be eating here again or recommending it. Simply put, very disappointed and left hungry!
16/03/26 : A returning visit for us today just for a light breakfast of tea, Gluten Free toast with jam & a toasted teacake before some retail therapy. Another warm welcome from the staff, quick service, plus enjoyable food & beverages. Comfortable with a warm feel about the place, our place of choice whenever in Truro.nnThanks again to the team working during our visit.nnOctober 2025 : part of the Lounge chain restaurants, so you know what you are getting. Subject to which of the restaurant locations you are at, the food is consistently good. The atmosphere was slow to quiet, but then it was a week day lunchtime. The welcome & service we could not fault, our drinks & food arrived at our table with no real wait time, we could bot fault the quality of food.nnThanks to the team working lunchtime 26/09/25.
Lovely food and cosy atmosphere, Amy was an amazing server I mentioned I was having some over stimulation from the music volume and she was super accommodating and inclusive. Very understanding and sweet, a credit to her team and made my night. Thank you so much for the lovely experience and hope you get recognition for your kindness!
All the lounges are great. The food is amazing value and always a good standard. The service is good. Depending on when you visit and who is there, it can sometimes be rather noisy but generally has a relaxed atmosphere.
