Visited for first time . It was really nice food. Was welcomed as we walked in . Staff where very friendly and polite . I would say it has the old school vibe we all remember as kids when we went out for a curry. 5*
Can't believe how over 200 people have rated this place at 4.7 out of 5. It's average. The madras is watery and lacking authentic ingredients, it was the mildest madras i have ever eaten. Little amount of chicken. The naans are average and dry. We spent over £40 on food and they didn't even throw in any free chutneys with the poppadoms like all other curry houses do. Very stingy/expensive and cutting back on ingredients to make more money. It's not proper indian cooking. Don't get sucked in by the reviews you will be disappointed!

The interior and seats needs a makeover but the food is worth it Overall portions to price ratio is a tad on the expensive side for what you get but you will enjoy the hospitality from the manager Is a under rated venue hidden in plan site
Gotta love a family run business, complete with dedication, hard work & an atmosphere that's sadly, hard to find these days. I'm aware that the chef has won awards, but add to that a fabulous heartfelt service & genuine desire to give customers the best dining experience & you're onto a winner. We arrived a minute before closing, with a car full of family that were visiting from the Far East We'd not called ahead or made reservations and it was clear that the restaurant was in the process of closing. Despite the inconvenience we caused,we were welcomed,seated & left alone to catch up with the years we'd missed. At no point were we rushed although I did hear the owner apologising to his wife on the phone & explaining that he'd be a little late home! The dishes were superb. The Bengali chef deserves every award he's acquired. Without question the best Indian meal in the City. Gratitude to all the staff that we delayed!
