The Notting Hill Bookshop is one of those places that feels more charming because of its character than its size. It’s definitely a small shop, but that actually adds to the experience — the shelves feel carefully curated rather than overcrowded, and there’s a nice mix of books and souvenirs that make it worth stopping into even if you’re just visiting the area.nnOf course, being famous from the movie Notting Hill means it gets pretty crowded inside, especially with tourists stopping by for photos, but that’s honestly part of the atmosphere. It feels like stepping into a little piece of London film history.nnWhat I liked most was that despite its popularity, it still manages to feel like a genuine neighborhood bookshop rather than just a tourist attraction. A lovely place to browse for a few minutes and pick up a memorable souvenir from Notting Hill.
While it’s not exactly the same as it appeared in the movie, this shop still holds a wonderful charm. They have a great selection of merchandise that feels much more curated than other shops. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality notebooks, which almost tempted me to buy several, and the postcards featuring various meaningful quotes were truly captivating. It’s a lovely place to pick up a thoughtful souvenir that actually feels connected to the spirit of Notting Hill. Definitely worth a stop if you’re a fan of the film or just love beautiful stationery!
This place is lovely. Any Notting Hill movie fan will have their dream come true. The bookshop is cozy and have great collection of books. You can also buy cute souvenirs and they have range of bookmarks, pins, postcards, magnets and many more.
It’s stunning! The variety of books is wild and they’ve got beautiful editions of many classical books. It’s a must, even if you don’t buy anything in the end.nThe only issue is that they don’t take cash, only card, so go prepared!
My husband likes going to bookstores whenever we’re on vacation, so we visited this famous bookstore in Notting Hill. However, it was so crowded inside that it was hard to look for a book, as many people were just taking photos instead of buying anything.
