Forbidden Planet is a glorious rabbit hole of geekery. You walk in for one thing—maybe a comic, a dice set, or a little Grogu keyring and somehow leave three hours later clutching a £20 novelty mug, a replica lightsaber, and existential dread about your bank account. It’s that kind of place. And I love it for that.nnIt’s wall to wall fandom: graphic novels, figures, posters, T shirts, pop culture junk you didn’t know you needed but obviously do, and a very respectable dice collection that would make any D&D goblin weep with joy. You want something nerdy, obscure, or potentially cursed? It’s probably here.nnBut… we need to talk about the Pokémon plush section. Because what the hell is going on back there?nnI jump on most Pokémon plushes. I’ve got a Bidoof at home, for crying out loud. I love novelty. I love weird. But this selection? No. Absolutely not. It's like someone took a randomiser, shook it up, and said, “Perfect. We'll stock Chingling, Munna, and Palafin. That’ll please the fans.”nnSpoiler, it does not.nnIt’s like wandering into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and discovering it’s only selling celery. Big section, zero temptation. I came in ready to part with cash. I left plushless and confused.nnPlus some of your plushes look off. I didn't know a stuffed Flareon could get Bell's Palsy.nnStill, Forbidden Planet remains a nerdy gem worth visiting, especially if you like surprises, collectables, or just the warm, slightly sweaty embrace of fandom. Just sort that plush section out, please. You’re hurting us.

This place is impressive. Great collection of books, merch, figures, games, manga, graphic novels, comic books, you name it. Probably the best selection of sci-fi, fantasy and horror books I have seen in London. You will spend hours here.nHighly recommended

Impressive store with amazing variety.nIt's a large 2 floor store with huge selection of comics, books, action figures, gaming merch, etc...nnWell organized, clean and everything is in great shape, stuff are very helpful and efficient, I really enjoyed purchasing some black series action figures, thank you!

A good place where you can easily spend an hour. Lots to see especially the basement. Have lots of different kind of toys.

Staffs are nice, has a lot of comics and manga. Student discount of 10% is really good deal. Some books on sales are extremely cheap.
