A smashing array of interesting dishes, plus some complimentary extras, with the superb service, made this Sunday teatime meal feel special. The generous portions meant we struggled to make headway. The attentive waitress offered to pack our uneaten food in a doggy bag for us. Considering the quality and quantity of our food, the bill was a pleasant surprise.nWe will return.
Portion sizes are AMAZING!!!! Order rice to share swear you’ll waste it otherwise. Excellent food, excellent atmosphere went on a Saturday night and amazing staff. Tentative without being too much couldn’t fault them.
Genuinely the best Indian restaurant in Lowestoft.nnThe service was fantastic, the staff made a huge fuss for a family members birthday and practically showered them in attention and complementary treats. We didn't even mention it was their birthday, the waiter just noticed we'd brought a gift bag and asked who we were celebrating!nnEvery single dish was delicious and such generous portions, we had lots packed up to take home. Lamb saagwala in particular just melts in your mouth.nnI only have one small criticism and that is the restaurant is quite small inside so the tables are pretty packed in, but I suppose that's a testament to how popular it is!nn5 of us attended, ordered multiple starters, mains, sides, drinks and one dessert. Came to around £170.
We usually eat a few doors down, though we saw this place on a walk so checked the reviews of this curry house to realise we shouldl try it. As we stared at the menu outside, we were invited in by friendly staff who remained attentive the whole meal. Everything was so generous, from the large choice of condiments for the poppadoms to a couple of tasty dishes they added. There were so many great choices on the menu and everything was prepared and presented quickly and beautifully. This was by far the nicest dining experience we've had in a long time and we had enough left overs to take away for another meal tomorrow. Thanks to all the serving staff and chefs for making an extra effort that was really appreciated. That was yummy mate, hope to see you again!
Amazing food! So tasty and great portion sizes. 3rd time we've been and we'll definitely go back. The welcome you get is warm and friendly and like you're old friends. Can't beat the service here. We were absolutely stuffed and left with some food to take home with us. We'd only visited Lowestoft for the day to get away from Leicester. Couldn't go home without popping in here. Definitely give this place a try! You'll love it
