Great service, nice atmosphere.....Even got a free drink after a short delay getting our mains during a busy tea time. Downloaded the app, so super easy. Lots of offers too.... Such a lovely, welcoming pub. Mark and Marie have turned this place into a brilliant place to go eat, drink and relax. Families are welcome and the food is amazing. The cleanliness of the place amazes me, they give Mrs Hinch a run for her money.

Lovely afternoon having a few drinks and a nibble. Good value and good range of drinks. Great personal service from the manager who made us feel most welcome. Definitely will return for more.

My main course arrive £12.95 missing the mushrooms, got mayonnaise dip with our calamari instead of sweet chilli, all forgivable if the the service hadn't been so poor. And ,lovely singer as she was...I don't really want to listen to karaoke whilst having Sunday lunch

Lovely pub, had some food a few days ago with my elderly grandmother and it came out in quick time and my gran loved her gammon steak. The manager came over to the table and checked if everything was okay. Couldn’t have asked for better service!

Usually a nice pub where you can go for a bite to eat with the kids or just a couple of drinks, however as of late it seems if you’re not a regular or your face doesn’t fit, the Manager has a habit of saying “are you eating?” & if the answer is “no”. Well it’s full & you can’t come in. This has also happened to a few other people I’ve spoken to, even the regulars in the Pub have said this is happening frequently, even to Adults who don’t have kids with them. As far as I’m aware you don’t need to book a table to enter a “Public House” or have to purchase a meal to be allowed entry, especially in the bar area where no food is served or am I missing something, is standing not allowed? ‍ Seems to be a classic case of if your face doesn’t fit or not a regular or perhaps they just want your money if you’re buying food. Either way it’s a shame as it’s the only local pub in the area unless you walk into Hessle Square & this will only drive new Customers away.

Great find, stayed at the village hotel and 15 minute stroll away. Lovely mixed grill and chicken for mains..Peroni on tap and plenty of screens for World cup. Definitely a decent bar to visit if your in the areaFood: 5/5

First time in, went to the bar and after 10 minutes and no one came Downloaded the app. At that point someone came in and pressed the bell, and got served before me. Please please advise of this to new comers !Service: 1/5

I Have Had Several Meals With My Family At The Norland The Food Is 5 Star And Absolutely Lovely The Staff Are Helpful and Friendly And The Meals Are Priced Good I Would Recommend The Norland To Anyone Who Loves A Great Meal With Friendly And Lovely Staff. We had a drink here while we had our car in the garage, the staff are very friendly and even provide water for the dogs. The pub was freshly decorated and the hanging baskets outside are beautiful, we will be back to try the food
