Would love to give a glowing review. But regrettably as they haven't replied to my Email and telephone message left. In regards to booking a room. This poor service doesn't give a lot off confidence in there professional standards and business plan.
The Nithsdale Hotel is a charming family run hotel located in the heart of Sanquhar. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is excellent, and the food in the restaurant and pub is delicious. The staff could not be more gracious or welcoming. They take pride in the hotel and as a result offer a welcoming, friendly and comfortable place to stay and enjoy.
Stayed here recently for a few nights while working in the area. The room was clean, well-furnished and regularly attended to. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure and was nice and warm. The restaurant is good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

This hotel is surprising.nnFrom the rear carpark behind the hotel, you cant tell how lovely it is inside.nnOur room was fresh, clean and felt new.nnThe staff were friendly and helpful, and the dinner in the hotel offered a yummy crumbed mushroom starter and a homely vegetarian curry which we did not expect in small country town.nnIt was very affordable and great value.nnHighly recommend it.
