Good size room. Side beer garden. Part hlgh ceiling. Worm feel to the pub. Very clean and tidynStandard spoons menu.
Nothing to fault about this spoons. On my recent trip to Cheshire and beyond, i found this one to be the best out of the Wetherspoons that I visited.nQuick service and well kept rea; ales. I had 2 Wobbly Bobs and Nachos for around a tenner. Good atmosphere and a smart interior and beer garden.nOne of the better ones in Merseyside.
Update 11.3.25nIt is still my top favourite restaurant. The nice staff, wonderful and relax environment, good food. I will have my breakfast at least once a week.nSince my last review 4 months ago, it became my family breakfast restaurant as the small breakfast promotion attracted me. I nearly went there every weekend.nHowever, the price of coffee free refill and the small breakfast increased, now I changed to go biweekly.n4 months ago..........nI had been several Whether spoon before and this is the best one I ever had. The toast is hot and crunchy. The food is served in hot and smell very good. The staff there are really nice. The recent small breakfast would be a considerate arrangement for those cannot finish a big one.nHowever, hope that there would be one more coffee machine and we don’t need to wait so long. And chocolate dust would be refilled more often.nLastly, I always like to have fish and chips there. It tastes great. But the fish size may differ from time to time.
I do visit quite regularly and it’s always been a good place to go for a cheap breakfast etc have to say it’s definitely not as good as it used to be the portions are small which ok it’s cheap but for example I ordered scrambled eggs on toast apparently they use 3 eggs and when it came over it looked pitiful I complained and the waiter said it was 3 eggs but they are small ?? also at least one coffee machine is usually on the blink went there Father’s Day and it was absolutely rammed with a huge constant queue for the one working coffee machine you would think they would they would have a box of instant coffee sachets for emergencies, it’s only saving grace is it’s cheap the food is ok atmosphere wise avoid on Fridays unless you like to hear conversations between people getting drunk and swearing their heads off or sit further near the back especially if you’ve got kids with you
Excellent busy Spoonz, we visited for breakfast and were served nice hot food by busy but very friendly Staff....would happily call again!
