Polite girl greeted & took my order at the bar, My Wife & I had a lovely Cappuccino & I had some really tasty & to my surprise a very large portion of fries. The seating arrangement outside the front was tasteful black rattan with a glass table top the flowers were pretty. We took our Dog for a stretch around the back there are plenty of picnic tables on the grassed area & room to enjoy the canal view
Very pleasant country pub for a Christmas meal. Not very many options for vegetarians a normal Christmas meal with all the veg, stuffing, sauces but with something like a good nut roast would be, I'm sure, a crowded pleaser; roast veg in a vegetarian oil of course! Attentive service, reasonably priced, and all the food was lovely.
My wife is in a wheelchair and not only is there not a disabled toilet, the door to toilet is inaccessible for a wheelchair.. It is a long walk from the toilet door to the stall which made it a struggle... Food was patchy.. Prawn cocktail was delicious.. Sunday roast came with mushy broccoli and carrots... Needless to say we won't be revisiting
Had Sunday lunch here with my wife and neither of us could fault it, from the friendly, prompt service, to the very tasty and excellently presented food, which in my case was sea bass on buttery crushed potatoes and spinach. My wife had the roast beef roast. It was our first visit " on spec" and it won't be our last.
Highly recommend to indulge yourself into the tasty food that the restaurant serves here, expecially the Sunday roast dinner. The food is so yummy, I've no complaints relatin to any part of this restaurants booking i made from the safe service provided by all the staff. Also must mention that also I did request for the pudding I chose as part of the 2 course meal option the restaurant offers I asked if it could be put into containers to take home with me which was done with no questions asked which to me was fabulous customer services. I will most definetly 100% be returning again and will be recommending "The New Scarisbrick Arms" to all friends and family if they want to experience a relaxed tasty meal out and about. A lovely restaurant with very attentive staff. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, in fact all the food we had was lovely. Would definitely visit again. Dietary restrictions: Limited menu for children with allergies
Enjoyed a really lovely lunch at The New Scarisbrick this week. The tempura prawns to start were just delicious as was the rump steak meal for mains, which was cooked perfectly. Although the outside of the building doesn't look inviting, once inside the venue is lovely. I would definitely recommend this resturant and will hopefully be returning soon.
A very nice place for dinner lunch or a roast no complains anytime I've been here nice setting nice food and lovely to sit outside in the summer. Split into two halfs one side is the bar and tables the other the restaurant. Staff always polite and plenty of free parking available
Fantastic place with lovely food and great service. Will be definitely coming back
