Good small pub, beer variety decent…surprising large games room at the back. Kid and pet friendly.
Nice pub, and friendly staff. Would recommend
What happened to this pub? It used to be so friendly and welcoming. Now, we feel we have two heads when we’re in here and the bar staff are not interested in making this a pleasurable pub. Thank goodness there’s a pub nearby who actually want to see you drink there.
Lovely little inn. Perfect for a lunch time drink.
The lady behind the bar was unnecessarily rude. I also over heard how disgustingly she spoke to her young bar staff. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless your a drunken regular because that’s the only way to get decent service at that bar Shame because it’s nice location.
Friendly pub and staff, visited here to watch football. Busy pub but loads of seating and screens.
Great find. Bar staff were brilliant, pool table, dart board, live music nights. Unusual decor. Loved it
Good pub. I used to run past the New Inn but I had never stepped inside until today. A very welcoming barmaid. We had two pints and the vegan pizza. The food was actually very good. We’d definitely go back.
The pizzas were good, but the waitress was a bit rude and unfair to us. We first tried to move the table a bit towards the sun because we were cold and she told us we couldn't to that which is fair. We moved it back and when we tried to move to a different table to be in the sun, she told us that we couldn't because she needed 20 minutes ! to clean it, but then let two other groups sit or move in "uncleaned" tables without any protest. We understand she was busy and stressed, but this incident spoiled a bit our lunch.
First time in the New Inn pub I’m from London. Great experience polite staff very friendly & helpful. The was a bit of commotion Friday evening regarding a group of people who booked in for 5 people but turned up with 10 people all wanted pizzas and then demanded to pay for their bill after waiting half an hour for freshly made pizzas which they could only cook 2 at a time due to small oven. The customers were rude and very in your face towards the staff. They were shouting in the female staffs face and not just one of them 5 of them leaning over bar but the pub carried out all the procedures with the Covid situation all in place in which they were breaking the rules.
