I had Gammon and egg with chips and salad, large portion and very tasty, my husband had steak and ale pie veg and chips, great portions for the price and both delicious.nWe will definitely be visiting again and the new owners are very welcoming, you must visit and try it for yourselves

Warm friendly staff...separate dining room with bar. Food ..choose pork chop with new potatoes peas plus black pudding with peppercorn sauce for my friend I choose no sauce was going to try & share...However sauce was so thick had to fork it out... no butter portion offered for potatoes or gravy. Chop cooked but so dry this would have benifitted with some gravy or the sauce to be pouring sauce. Hope my review helps you for your future customers who may choose this meal.
We had a lovely meal tonight at Nags . My partner had steak & Ale pie, Chips & Veg. I had veg lasagna, salad, garlic bread and chips. It was lovely so tasty, Best veg lasagna I had in a long time . Atmosphere in the pub was great . All staff make you so welcome
Lovely staff, fantastic freshly cooked home style food at a very reasonable price
