After a walk along the river, we were ready for something to warm us up. We were very happy to see that we could bring in our dogs (both well behaved) and had a very nice meal. My friend needs to avoid gluten and the menu choices accommodated that as well as vegetarian options. The service was quick, and the food was well cooked, nice and hot and plentiful. I have since been back and with other friends, enjoyed a coffee, and we did not feel under pressure to leave, once we had finished our beverage. Well worth a visit.

It was very busy when we went in so had to wait some time for food but it was worth it as we all enjoyed the meals. The staff were friendly and helpful and quickly corrected an error on the bill. We will certainly be going again.

A really nice pub. .lovely view of the river Trent ..The food is good to ...very to sit inside very smart...lovely wooden.walls inside.. comfy seats..

Nothing to fault here at all. They had our table via on line reservation, the food was delicious- I had the small portion of ham egg and chips and my colleague had vegetarian - and the service was diligent but not too over the top. Recommended. Great quiet location too.
