George's fish and chips are consistently good quality. Friendly staff here too. Small light lunchtime deals are especially great for kids. I prefer the large cod meal

Went last week and dined in the restaurant, well cooked food was doing fine till I got a mouthful of bones, that did it for me, probably my own fault , maybe I should have shredded the fish before I put it in my mouth

Just had the most disgusting takeaway from georges long Eaton ever & we are fairly regular. It was cold, chips were soggy & not really cooked that well - not a crispy one amongst them. First time I'd ever had a saveloy just cold & no taste. Peas & curry sauce were cold. Since the store management has changed the product has gone downhill dramatically not eating from there again rather try some where where they know what they are actually doing. In order for me to post this it forced me to give it a star which I really do not want to do this is completely worthy of no stars at all!
