Ping food but okay. Slow service requiring prompts, even though not full by any means. 2 for 1 but inflated prices for most individual dishes. Works out cheaper than a lot of places but not really 2 for 1 compared to similar places. Have to say their offer on a Thursday night of any 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 is excellent value. Unfortunately for me, my daughter is a burger lover so I couldn't take advantage of this offer ☹.

Brilliant food. Extensive menu and always lots more on the wall of specials! The staff are always friendly and it has a small indoor play area towards the back of the dinning area. The pub is always clean and I like the way when you go into the bar area away from the dinning area you can realy tell your in an old pub with the low roof and wooden beams.

Had a nice meal here recently. It came out promptly and the specials menu has a great selection to choose from. Bar staff could work on their hospitality skills but other than that, really impressed and would go here again.

Nice food and good drinks. Be careful if you're tall and go into the back low ceilings

This could be such a nice little pub, if only it were managed better and they employed decent staff. Went for a family meal and was unimpressed from the off, I approached the bar and was not welcomed by the staff. Then whilst the food was being brought to the table we were not asked if anyone wanted any condiments, when we asked for some the spot faced waiter gave us attitude as if we had asked him to do something unreasonable. The poor manners and lack of hospitable behavior continued by all members of staff on shift. From dirty looks to evil stares, I had to really control my temper as the whole experience infuriated me. The food was edible, the drinks were the same price as most places in the area. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
