My partner and I ended up stranded in Llanidloes due to the extreme snowfall that happened on our way back to Bristol. We luckily found The Mount Inn and wandered in in an attempt to warm up and figure out what to do! The staff immediately helped us out, finding travel information for us as well as offering a room as a place to stay, which we ended up choosing to do. The regulars and staff were both lovely, making us feel at home and making light of our situation. They fed us well and we got a very big cosy room too! Amazing hospitality, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit or stay here!nThank you very much for taking care of us!nLouis and Jas
The mount inn is a traditional inn. The rooms are clean but basic, tiny en-suite, great shower.nnThe food was plentiful and tasty.nnI will say that all the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
I stay here 3 times a year when I go shooting at Orion Firearms. The landlord and landlady are super friendly. I can always charge my car as they have an ev charger on site.nnThe rooms are decent, I always stay in the disabled room, and its really spacious, clean and tidy.nnNothing to fault at all. Always made to feel welcome by the staff and the locals.nnThe hot breakfast is decent.nnThe inly downside is there is no food on a Sunday evening. But its no issue really, as there are a couple of other places to eat.nnI will continue to book here for my 3 trips a year.
James and Claire provided us with an excellent funeral tea.nThey were friendly, compassionate and understanding.nWe had the place to ourselves.nI would highly recommend them.
We stayed here a few days ago as part of our cycling trip with Cycle Active. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Comfortable bed, lovely bed linen, clean and plenty of hot water showers. Yes there was a bit of mould in the shower but that wouldn’t bother us. Inevitable in an en-suite without an external window. It was all very clean.nFood was fab pub grub. Great veggie options too.nI’d had an accident that day and was in a sling with a broken wrist. The staff were really kind and without asking, brought extra pillows for me.nI’d stay here again without hesitation.
