Making my second ever visit. Madge loves looking over the canal basin where multiple narrow boats are moored. A Greene King pub. We stopped for food. Pretty good. Madge liked her bangers and mash. I had a pint of their house bitter.

Nice location , food was probably the worst I’ve had . Tasteless ,burger bun was dry and hard , literally left the lot as did everyone else in the group. The meatloaf tribute was great, highly recommend for a night out but wouldn’t eat there again. Food seriously needs looking at as could be so much better!

Table 5 has the best view in the pub across the canal. Lovely inside. Ordered some pale ale which was lovely, plus some chips which had been cooked 3 or 4 times over. Lovely atmosphere.nnPopped back in March 2024. Busy Easter weekend. Food okay. Good selection of drinks.
