A very cosy and nice pub in the middle of wigan. We where there on a stop over to manchester. The pub has a lush menu and both of our meals tasted good. thanks a lot to the team, helping us in any way.
40 minute wait for a breakfast on a Sunday morning for it to arrive cold. Truthfully it’s not that nice neither it’s been microwaved. This place as seriously gone down hill. I f I could rate 0 stars I would. Tables are left with plates on them & the place is just in a BIG mess. Nicest part is the coffee, its from a machine but I must say this place isn’t clean or serve the food correctly I doubt the beers taste nice to and the lines aren’t cleaned regularly too. It’s just down to poor management skills without experience to run a venue like this. I will push this report through to your HQ as standards are seriously lacked. Sort it out!!
So after a drink night out in Manchester, I ended up coming to Wigan to support a friend. Thought u would grab breakfast in the weather spoons. Staff are very welcoming. The place is quite exceptional clean. And the breakfast is very good
Nice Wetherspoons, the decor is absolutely lovely, old stone and lots of character, somewhat big establishment, not huge but nice. Obviously as you're used to the toilets are upstairs, staff are friendly and the foods standard for what you'd expect from a spoons. Overall good experience.
Had freedom breakfast £3.99. Good value for money. Tea brought to table but then told to visit the beverage corner for milk and sugar. Not too clever on my feet so got my partner to bring over the jug of milk rather than carry my hot tea across the pub and upstairs to obtain milk! Disability awareness course could be needed!
The food on Monday evening was absolutely delicious! The staff were all friendly and made sure the food was amazing. Massive appreciation to Jorgi on the bar till, I am a fussy eater and some of the menu, they didn’t have in. She guided me to the best steak! My brother enjoyed his meal too!
Wetherspoons. Need I say anymore. Typical beers and menu right in the town centre. Nothing remarkable but great value if you’re after some.
Customer service non-existent. The bar staff dropped the metal measure in the glass and fished it out with fingers then served the drink while laughing about it with other customers. Put full sugar coke in a drink instead of diet coke. No please or thank you when asking for money or giving change, or basic manners of any kind.
Cheap food and not bad they normally do a good breakfast and refillable hot drinks cant grumble really wouldnt go if i wanted a nice tea out , would just go for cheap grub
Went in for beer & food.Quiet for a Thursday but beer OK as was the Jalfezie curry. Onion barges were not warmed up correctly so complained & they were replaced.
