First visit here today with 25 Colleagues for Lunch. The Mint was Lovely, really nice surroundings and Luxury Furnishings and Decor. Service with a Smile and on point with such a large number of us for Lunch. We ate in the Conservatory which was bright and airy. I Especially Loved the Strawberry Cuddle Mocktails which led to loads more being ordered by my colleagues. The Starters looked Delicious and the Presentation was Great which made the taste buds Tantilise. Feed back on everything that we All ordered was Great every dish looked and Tasted Amazing. Would Definitely Recommend and will Definitely be back. Thanks to All the Staff and Chefs for a Really Pleasant visit
Just had a beautiful two course lunch, at the Mint, with my friend. Not been for many years, but will definitely be back. Spacious, bright, clean, and airy restaurant. Staff very attentive, pleasant, and obviously happy at their work, nothing was a bother. Excellent menu, very generous portions, the onion rings were very large, very tasty, and freshly cooked, very reasonably priced, and the food was all piping hot. I can highly recommend a visit. Bruschetta, chicken coujons, and a side of onion rings.
Visited for 1st time last week. My soup let my choice of stars down, it was watery & tasteless, I left most of it. Everything else was so tasty & very well presented
Lovely decor and very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was only ok though, i would describe it as decent standard pub food which is a tad on the expensive side.
Delicious meal, 3 of us all had different mains each one delicious. The desserts, we all had the same, caramel apple pie was to die for. Staff were very pleasant and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
Really good choice of dishes - including some gluten- free . Staff were pleasant and efficient. The restaurant and loos were very clean and made us feel safe. We both had the fish, which was excellent.
I have visited The Mint many times and always love it. The atmosphere is great no matter what kind of experience you are looking for. The conservatory at the front is perfect for a nice romantic meal or if you fancy delicious cocktails and a catch up the main bar is ideal. They offer amazing value set menus and the food is always delicious! There is a great choice and even thought it's inexpensive, the food always looks like top restaurant standard. The steak pie is a must! The only one thing I could fault was that on one visit I had the red velvet cheesecake but, even though still delicious, it didn't taste like red velvet at all. It had an overpowering taste of lemon. As I say though, still delicious and I ate every bit!
Great food, friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere
Staff are very attentative, clean and comfortable. Food tasted very nice but unfortunately had a hair in my chicken, the staff dealt with it very professionally and quickly. Think it was just a pure accident as the place is spotless.
Beautiful meal, staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon to try some cocktails
