This is a completely new concept to me and for the price I wasn't expecting much but after having stayed two nights I'm genuinely shocked its not inundated with positive reviews. The apartments are unstaffed but access is quick, easy and extremely convenient while the room itself is perfect - well equipped, clean and spacious. Communication with the man in charge Joe is easy and he authorised my request for a late checkout very quickly. I will be staying in Dewsbury again in the future and this place will always be my first choice from now on. I feel sorry for the owner having received reviews that are less than perfect because of things that are outside of his control - yes there is some noise on the street but what do people expect, you're in the centre of town! And noisy neighbours?! Whose fault is that! People always have to find something to complain about. I'm happy because I got much more than I expected, and for the price I'm sure than anyone with half a brain would be too. Thanks so much!
Great apartment, very clean. Kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster and cutlery. There's no tv but the wifi is good no problems. Comfy bed and settee, lots of power points so charging mobiles, laptops etc. is easy. Great private bathroom with corner shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Check in and out easy with very clear instructions. The cleaners are lovely and the host Joe is very helpful a true gentleman. The heaters in the room and bedroom are very efficient, bed linen and towels are supplied. There's a laundry room free to use, 2 washers and 2 driers, use your own laundry powder. The apartment was light, airy, plenty of room, some traffic noise but no problem for me. It's located in a super area, everything you'd need in walking distance. All within 2 to 10 minutes walk there's the market, international food stores, quality save, wilkos, superdrug, poundland, the works, Iceland, boots, sainsbury's, B&M, asda, fast food shops, fish n chip shops and a huge discount store where you can get almost anything. The apartment was as advertised, no disappointments. Definitely the number 1 place to stay in this area in my opinion.
Excellent location
I'm just going to mention, I originally wanted a different apartment but the site I booked through hadn't taken the option down when it ought to have done and so the 2 lovely gents involved actually communicated between one another to arrange for me to still have a place to stay, just not the one I wanted. It's ideal for location if you're in the centre and gives you access to anywhere and everywhere you need to reach and it's only mins walk away to reach all public transport spots , you're surrounded by a little of everything but nothing fancy, but everything you need for sure and the place has got a cosy atmosphere I have to say .. the apartment itself doesn't have parking and has a meh entrance and a bit disheartened when entering the building, my code just didn't want to work but at no fault of my host, my host by the way 9 out of 10 .. you could have let me check in a little earlier, and check out a little later 1000 am with no where to go and no where to check in as most places check out at 1100am was a tad awkward but there's a genuine reason it is this way I'm sure, you wouldn't believe how helpful he was other than this one personal comfort request, he honestly went out of his way xx. However the apartment once in wasnt anything 5 star but clean and tidy definitely and had all you need .. perfect for contractors.. no teli or radio so bring your own entertainment or even better actually communicate with each other like the olden days.. it has a nice feel and the entrance isn't like the inside of the place you stay .. all in all depends upon what you require this one for .. I'd say cost is good and it's clean and communication ideal .. work related stays perfect x
