I give this place 4.5 stars to be exact. Service is fast and good. Prices are nor very cheap, but reasonable for a location. The only thing was the food as mussless I ordered was so small I barelly tasted... But I hope it was just off season situation and on season you can get proper stuff. Otherwise five stars.
First time that I got bones in my fish & chips!! At least 13 bones!! That's too much. Also chips are not hand cut but frozen. Was expecting something better in a place that is rated +4* on Google maps :
Great location under the arches looking out to sea. The food was good but I'm only awarding 3 stars because the service was unbelievably slow. We ordered 2 all day breakfasts and it took nearly 50 minutes to arrive. Yes it was lunchtime but the place was only half full and how long can it take to cook such a quick simple meal?! I'd go again but not if I was starving!
First time in gone there it's ok place nothing to shout about really ..menu a bit pricey for what they offer but of course the location makes up for it ...I don't think I will be going there again as it's not value for money plus I asked for a poached egg when it came the plate had so much water I've dried it with the paper napkin and because that the toast got soggy paid over £50 for three breakfast .... for £5 ingredients
The food was good and the restaurant was clean. The servers seemed to follow Covid-19 rules well considering they have just recently opened. Would recommend if you want nice tasting food. Stay safe everyone and enjoy England safely!!
Clean, good value for money, happy to change the menu to accommodate their customers. It's better to book a table then you can specify where abouts you want to sit. We will return.
Notwithstanding the view of the sea, the lovely staff accommodated my family group of nine and then served delicious and generous portions of food. Will definitely revisit next time I'm in Essex.
The food and service was excellent. Great value for money. Food quality was very good and was hot and fresh when it arrived at the table. Even when they where busy.
Cosy seaside restaurant with a serene view, fast & friendly service, and a strong adherence to current Covid-19 guidelines. Staff were more than happy to swap out an item in my all day breakfast for me. The perfect pitstop after a long walk down westcliff seafront!
Went for breakfast and was very impressed. Good quality fry up and good price for amount of food etc. Only downside was waiting for it to come out, however it was very busy. Definately recommended.
