Very friendly and welcoming like a proper cafe should be. It is spacious, and has a children’s play area. The menu was varied. I got a lovely flat white and the toast was high quality. The slight downside was very cold butter, which didn’t easily melt into my toast.
If you have kids then this is perfect. !!!!. Food is the normal. And probably better elsewhere, "but would be more expensive" But your kids will love it much more here. Which means you will also. Ice-cream parlour. And play area for the little ones while you chill. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff, great place to go after school and have a play date and a catch up, lovely cakes and the children’s milkshakes are great and gd price. Highly recommend
Lovely, family friendly coffee shop. One of the few places that tries to make it comfortable for everyone. Play area for kids, bit of space for buggies, nice view and good coffee for mums.
I've been here 3 times within 7 days. It's cheap enough for regular visits, it's got a great little play area, they have stickers, it's clean, there's a great selection of food and drinks and my little one LOVES the milkshakes. I should have popped in sooner to check it out, it's a great little place!
Went for ice cream after visiting Chalkwell Park, very reasonably priced and has a play area for children so kept them busy whilst waiting for our order. The ice cream sundaes were delicious too Kid-friendliness: Has play area with large selection of toys
Our first time visiting and will definitely be back. Had my nearly 3 year old Great Nephew with me and he loved the play area. The food was lovely and reasonably price. And the 'little treat' for my great nephew was a lovely touch. Will be back soon .
Popped in here at late afternoon with other mamas and tired/hungry babies. We were still welcomed and didn't feel awkward. We settled ourselves and service was very quick from a polite and friendly woman. The coffee is good properly made, not bitter or watered down and the price is really reasonable. The play space is an excellent idea, really so many toys there. Plenty of high hairs who h is always a bonus! Decor is plain and unfussy which makes it quite comfortable to be in. Really nice for a space for parents to have a quick caffeine fix and a place for kiddos to explore.
Daley’s is so lovely and inviting. Both my boys really love going there and my eldest actively asks to go to ‘the cafe with the toys at the table’ - it was coined this title during a time where the play area was off bounds due to restrictions yet they still made it an enjoyable experience for kids by having a basket of toys for each table which were then meticulously cleaned before giving to the next customers. They are always very smiley and welcoming plus very accommodating with meal choices. Baby changing facilities are also great if you are in need.
Lovely little coffee house. Brilliant place to bring kids. They serve beautiful food and reasonably priced too. They have the kids designated area with lots to do and play with. Just across the road from chalkwell park, makes this a favourite for families with young children
